push of a button, documents can be automatically indexed using new Zone OCR capabilities
and securely routed across your entire enterprise. You can simultaneously access
and manage documents with a web browser, then print, fax, and or email. Administrators
can now export documents to a CD for instant distribution and portability. Built
on an enterprise-class technology platform, Doc2NET can easily grow as your company
grows, making it your solid choice for compliant electronic document management.
With Doc2NET you can scan documents at your Sharp Digital IMAGER directly
into a Doc2NET cabinet (up to 10 cabinets) in either TIFF or PDF formats. Scanned
documents can be automatically OCR'd (Optical Character Recognition), making
those documents fully text searchable. In addition, documents can be archived
with up to six index fields (or meta-data), for easier retrieval. Each of the
10 cabinets can have its own set of unique index fields, enabling you to customize
your electronic archive. No more wasted time retrieving old files. Once retrieved,
documents can be viewed, emailed, printed and faxed, greatly streamlining your
document communication process. Doc2NET has a password-protected login, and
the system administrator has the ability to assign users access rights to elected
cabinets, drawers and folders thereby restricting access to your documents.
